What Is Soft Washing?

 

Soft washing is the use of water-based, biodegradable chemicals to break down dirt and grime, remove bug nests and webs, kill mold, mildew, algae and bacteria – leaving the surface clean and sterilized.

 

Soft washing consumes just one-third of the water that pressure or power washing does, and it lasts 4 - 6 times longer, it also does not deteriorate or harm the surface like power washing frequently can. Soft washing also provides more than just pressure washing because it does more than simply clean your roof. The products used in the our SoftWash units don't just clean; they penetrate, sanitize, and remove mold and mildew at its source. Resulting in a much longer lasting clean for your property.

4 Reasons Why Softwashing is Better.

 

There are a lot of reasons to select soft washing over pressure or power washing, however here are our biggest reasons:

​

1. Substitute for pressure washing
   Power washing creates erosion and strips away materials that might have been loosened by decomposition or aging. It may be suitable for some tasks and not others.
    

2. It actually treats the infestation
   Your house isn't just dirty – it's contaminated. Regular pressure washing only gets rid of the outer layer of this biomass and does not fix the root of the problem, leaving your surface vulnerable again not long after pressure washing is completed.
    

3. No damage from pressure
   Inadequately trained or inexperienced power washers can cause severe damage to a roof or other surfaces, especially if it's older to begin with.
    

4. A More eco-friendly cleaning option
   Power washers utilize from 3 to 8 gallons of water per minute (gpm). In one hour of washing a pressure washer can use from 180 gallons upwards to 480 gallons of water. Conversely, soft washing only uses approximately 60 gallons of cleaning solution, which is comprised of about 40 gallons of water.

 

 

The cleaning solution is so effective that it lasts 4 – 6 times longer than pressure washing. Making it more sustainable for the environment and to your expenses!
